Hi-Spec are a Carlow based company that has been specialising in the engineering and manufacture of agricultural and industrial machinery since 1988. With a reputation that is growing internationally Hi-Spec are constantly pushing to be at the forefront of technological advanced in the industry. In January 2012 Hi-Spec joined forces with Advanced Coatings to move to a high-tech paint system. Together we worked on a single coat paint system ("monolayer" system) which would give high performance in terms of anti-corrosive protection and aesthetic finish but would also bring monotary savings and applicaton improvements as compared to the existing monolayer system being used in the market. 

The advantages of the mono layer system for the customer is it's built in anti-corrosive protection, it is more eco friendly, and in the long term should any repairs or touch-ups be required they can be carried out very easily. For the manufacturer the advantages would be savings in terms of application, labour, drying times, etc.
